More model informationPiece based on one of the ceramics excavated in Pobla de Ifach (Calpe, Alicante), belonging to the Christian feudal repopulation period (13th-14th century). It is a bowl that would correspond to the table service, of open form, with a hemispherical body and a flat annular base. The rim is always straight and undifferentiated and the lip is simple convex. Ifach bowls were glazed on the inside with a whitish or greenish tin coating and with a partial vitreous treatment on the outside. The bowl is possibly one of the earliest individual food vessels known from the Middle Ages.
