The Marian Column in Judenau-Baumgarten is made of sandstone and represents one of the most valuable pillars in the area. On the square pedestal are three archangels and the guardian angel with child. An angel carries the shield with the coat of arms of Edmunda Lichtenstein-Dietrichstein. In the middle rises the high column with the Immaculata standing on it, at its feet lies a dragon. The Marian Column was built in 1720, damaged by the French in 1809 and renovated in 1908. The cost of the renovation was taken over by Johann II, House of Liechtenstein, who had attached the inscription “Renovatum et adauctum a Ioannis de Liechtenstein anno MCMXIII-MCMXIV”. The Marian column was renovated again in 1991.
The model was generated from 810 photos.
