Mar De Sangre-87 features a global iron-rich ocean with numerous volcanic islands, but most of the volcanoes occur at the Hot Spot where a small continent is continually being from the volcanic activity due to a large crack in the planet’s mantle underneath the Hot Spot. The Hot Spot hosts a terrestrial tectonic plate and stimulates the surrounding oceanic plate though the process of seafloor spreading. The circular coast of the Hot Spot, being a divergent boundary, is the host of many earthquakes which send tsunamis across the planet. Due to its moons, rotation, and the temperatures and currents near the equator, and volcanic activity, Mar De Sangre experiences frequent long-term hurricanes and thunderstorms. The storms and hurricanes travel in opposite directions from the equator due to the planet’s Coriolis effect.
