This partial mammoth pelvis is from New Ulm, Minnesota. It was at the Science Museum of Minnesota from 2020-2022 to undergo necessary conservation stabilization. This hip fragment does NOT belong to the Science Museum of Minnesota, so it does not have an accession number for this museum.
After the pelvis had its conservation treatment, it went back home to New Ulm, Minnesota where it is now on display at the Brown County Historical Society (BCHS).
I was asked to 3D scan the pelvis while it was at the Science Museum of Minnesota so that the paleontologists there would have a digital asset they could reference.
