The sculpture is part of the “Magdeburg Characters”. Six figures that illustrate six individuals from Magdeburg and their eccentricities.

The “Blutappelsine” owed its name to the red cheeks it acquired from standing at the market in all weather conditions. The rosy cheeks of the chatty market woman were said to have shone as brightly as the citrus fruits. The “curves” of the “Blutappelsine” were also said to resemble those of oranges.
The model was scanned, retopologised, and cleaned by me. The model ist not fully optimized to a low poly version and is best used in renderings or the unreal engine with nanite. The appended file contains the remeshed version with the cleaned basecolor, the baked normal and a base roughness.
