Patrol and reconnaissance plane M28B 1R Bryza A version of the aircraft developed by Polskie Zakłady Lotnicze in Mielec for the needs of the Polish Navy. The An-28B1R is equipped with the ARS-400/800 surface observation radar, the ŁS-10 data transmission system and the CHELTON rescue radio signal tracking system. The Bryza patrol and reconnaissance crew also has the option of dropping a rescue raf. The last machine in this version (1116) entered service in February 2001. There are three consoles in the cabin for radar and data transmission operators. All of them were placed facing the direction of flight. The crew consists of two pilots (commander and co-pilot), an on-board technician and, depending on the needs of two or three operators of on-board systems. At the beginning of 2008, one of this type of aircraft was upgraded to the M28B RM / Bis version.
