As practice for quickly creating a low poly sword as a potential game asset in 1-2 days, I was lucky enough to find one of Renato’s awesome swordtember entries and chose to stick with that. I modelled the low poly in Maya, sculpted the high poly in ZBrush, baked the asset in Marmoset and procedurally textured it in Substance Painter. All in all, despite the multiple comments of ‘that would make a very uneffective sword’, it was great fun and practice!
