Prehistoric carved rock found in the Low Plain area of Baildon Moor, West Yorkshire.
One of 30+ prehistoric carvings found in an area containing prehistoric cairns and co-axial field systems. Referenced ‘IAG 169’ in Boughey & Vickerman’s 2003 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding’, where it’s described as:
‘Small scoured rock. 2 cups, 1 in ovoid groove.’
The CSI: Rombalds Moor Project subsequently recorded the stone ‘Low Plain 19’ adding a possible further groove and cup. They also confirmed Boughey & Vickerman’s suggestion that the stone may have been moved or tilted.

This decimated model was created from 8 stereo pairs captured by Peter Butler (CSI Team) in May 2012. The imagery forms part of the HLF funded CSI: Rombalds Moor / Watershed Landscape Project archive.
