Bas-relief in fine-grained limestone of local origin, it is located at Benevento (Italy) in Bartolomeo Camerario’s street, measuring cm 174 x cm 74 and is of uncertain attribution. It depicts what seems to be a winged lion or sphinx if you prefer, its tail and legs are eloquent with the pose that recalls that of the lion of St. Mark and could have belonged to the temple of Isis because in the city such figures do not find other parallels.
