The Petite Ceinture de Paris line is an old 32-kilometer long double-track railway line (excluding connections) that ran around Paris inside the Maréchaux boulevards. Opened by sections from 1852 to 1869, it was initially exclusively dedicated to the traffic of goods before being opened to that of the travelers, with the exception of the line of Auteuil opened to the traffic of the travelers in 1854 then only in 1867 for that of the goods.
