The cross of Caen or The Leprous cross . Adorned with a Christ carved in the mass, this granite cross rests on an important plinth, broken at the base and octagonal on the surface, which gives the upper part its octagonal shape. It is this peculiarity which makes it possible to date this cross from the end of the 17th century. This granite cross marks the place of the burial place of Mrs. Decaen, who died of the plague. This cross is located at a place called “La lèverie” in the town of Coulonces, Normandy, France.
