More model informationThis early medieval carved stone is situated next to a ‘holy well’ within the deserted township of Kilmory Oib, near Loch Coille-Bharr in Argyll, western Scotland. Both sides of the stone were sculpted with crosses, and there are also image of birds and animals. It has been suggested that the circles represent the sun and moon. It is thought to date to the 8th or 9th Century.
I have also uploaded a version of this model with photographic textures.
