Keeas Rock Art (KE072-021----)3D Model
This large boulder is located in a wooded area of the Bridia valley, on the W bank of a stream which flows to the Caragh river. It measures 2.1m x 1.9m x 1.3m high and its decorated surface slopes upwards to NW. A number of deep fissures traverse the surface, which carries a large array of carvings. Among these are four motifs formed of cupmarks with radial grooves enclosed by one to four open-ended keyhole-shaped grooves; in one instance the outer groove is closed. The remainder of the motifs comprise at least nineteen simple cupmarks, eleven cup-and-rings, ten cup-and-two rings and two cup-and-four rings. The rings are both annular and penannular. Several straight and curved grooves also occur among these markings.
