More model informationLate antiquity three-layered comb from Carnuntum. The one-line comb with a circular segment-shaped handle plate is decorated with circle eyes. In the comb surface and in the circle segment are rivets that hold several bone pieces together. The teeth of the comb are processed differently deep. All teeth are present, the original length is not assignable. One-line combs were worn mainly as decoration in pinned-up hairstyle. Bone, bronze; 5,9x7 cm; from the 2nd third of the 4th century.
