Another Jojo entry, this time the stand Chariot Requiem.
This character was made in Maya using references found in the manga, anime and Eyes of Heaven game. For the most part, I believe I stayed true to most aspects of the stands, however I omitted features such as the knuckle spheres to retain a simpler design. Overall I think I did a decent enough job considering my sculpting skills.
For the textures, I decided to create a vanta black-like material to get the design similar to the references. A texture similar to Damascus was overlayed to simulate the ‘Black plastic’-like look that described Chariot Requiem, though I’m still half-and-half on it.
I followed a character creation work flow of creating the base mesh first, sculpting, UVing, and then texturing. I have yet to implement a rig onto this model, but I do plan on to once I have a better understanding of rigging.
