The first mentions of the monastery date back to 1570. In 1698, a monastery church was built, which has survived to this day. In 1775, the church became an ordinary parish church. It was thoroughly rebuilt in 1802, and restored in 1832. Separate icons from the church are kept in the Oleskyi Castle and in the Museum of the History of Religions in Lviv. In the church you can see the festive and apostolic rows (18th century). There is an icon of the 16th century. The wooden sculpture of St. Elijah, standing in the chapel in the church yard, was probably created in the 17th century. local craftsman. The church was reconstructed and lined with new wood.
