Prehistoric carved boulder on private farmland near Howgill Grange to the west of Hunderthwaite, County Durham.
Found by Paul Brown in 1996, this small stone is referenced ‘How 6’ in the Brown’s 2008 publication ’Prehistoric Rock Art in the Northern Dales’. NADRAP picked the record up from the county Historic Environment Record and referenced the stone ‘Howgill Grange 4’ on ERA. Both archives describe two cups.
