More model informationLeo Forbenius and collaborators first surveyed the Hodein Magal rock art site in 1926 during the DIAFE VIII expedition. The publication of the entire corpus of studied rock art sites surveyed by hand tracing occurred much later (Červíček 1974). Station 347 of Hodein Magal consists of two panels adorned with bovine figures and a conspicuous human figure holding a stick or club. Some Beduin symbols are present on the upper edge of the main panel. The Arabic inscription is very recent and certainly postdated by the Frobenius survey. The left panel of Station 347 is not among the petroglyphs discovered in 1926.
