More model informationHarpago chiragra (Linnaeus, 1758) is large gastropod species of the family Strombidae. It can grow up to more that 300 mm in lenght and has a very thick, robust and heavy shell. It is an herbivore, feeding on plants and algae, and can be found in Indo-Pacific coral reefs, in littoral and sublittoral zones, from tidal pools down to about 25 m.
