Probable prehistoric carving found in the Green Crag area of Rombalds Moor, West Yorkshire.
This stone can sits on Green Crag, on higher ground overlooking the large prehistoric enclosure. Boughey & Vickerman referenced the stone IAG305 in their 2003 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding’, describing:
‘Large rock sloping S to N. One large cup at SW end.’
The CSI: Rombalds Moor project added the record ‘Green Crag 12’ to ERA in 2013, they also noted another possible cup.
