Boulder near Ravensheugh Crags, SW of Wark, Northumberland.
This stone sits amongst a cluster of other carvings, to the E of the four-poster stone circle on Ravensheugh Crag. It’s referenced ‘Goatstones o’ on the Beckensall Archive (BA) and described as ‘A minimum of three cups.’
NADRAP subsequently recorded the stone ‘Goatstones o 24’, adding it to ERA in 2008, noting:
‘A flat rock, mainly turf-covered. Six possible cups along with several small holes that are probably natural erosion features.’
