Funerary Cone of Unknown Person3D ModelNoAI
An ancient Egyptian funerary cone dating to the New Kingdom. Funerary cones primarily come from the Theban Necropolis and feature the names and titles of the deceased. On this cone, the hieroglyphs are jumbled and rough, and it has been suggested that this type of funerary cone (374) is a forgery (Zenihiro, 2009; Helck, 1959), however examples of these funerary cones have been found in archaeological contexts, and so this identification of the cones as forgeries is uncertain at best.
Davies & MacAdam (1957) funerary cone type 374.
