More model informationPanel 2 in the Grotto Alcove at the Palatki Heritage Site NW of Sedona Arizona. The pictograph is interpreted to be a Sinagua zoomorph that was initially interpreted to be cut by Verde Incised grooves potentially created by proto historic Western Apache. Close inspection shows that some of the grooved petroglyphs are partially filled by paint and are now believed to be related to Pre-Sinagua, Archaic or older cultures.
