This is the central area of panel 15 area 3. The buff white paint is part of an Archaic water symbol. The deeply incised grooves were believed to be Apache Verde Incised style but they can be seen to be overlain by the white paint of the rake symbol. Some of the deeply incised grooves appear to overlay the fine incised lines which are clearly superimposed by the rake symbol. Some of the deeply incised grooves may superimpose the finely incised lines. This model also shows portions of the clastic fracture filling material eroded away exposing iron enriched sandstone overlying native Permian SS
This model is part of a project to study the association of Archaic and Sinagua petroglyphs and pictographs.
