Panel 15 central left area
This model is being used in a research project attempting to determine superposition of Archaic and pre-Archaic scratched petroglyphs in the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest near Sedona, Arizona.
This area appears to show “checkerboard” and large “diamond” patterns superimposed by probable later Archaic or post Archaic vertical, horizontal and random scratching. The scratches are also superimposed by Sinagua pictographs. The are is approximately 25 x 25 cm. This area has complex overlays of various size diamond patterns and vertical sets.
This model has strobe lighting from the right side.
