This site has large areas of pictograph and petroglyph rock art but no evidence of room structures although there some within hundreds of meters. The grinding surface was likely used for grinding corn or beans. The mano grinding stone found in association with the metate is basalt and may or may not have been a stone used with this surface.
This model is done as part of photo documentation of sites in the Verde Valley considered to be at risk from natural or human factors.
