This Yavapai pictograph is situated very close to where visitors can stand and view it. It appears to be much more difficult to discern details due to weathering, covering with dust or other issues. The Sinagua petroglyphs situated above it are slowing sloughing off due to natural processes.
This model is part of an ongoing project to document “at risk” rock art at our Heritage Sites due to natural or vandalism related issues. Additional information about the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest can be found at the following web sites http://www.sedonaredrocktrails.org/
