More model informationA coped graveslab lies in the graveyard of Fowlis Easter parish church, Angus. It is in poor condition, having sheared in the middle, and is laminating rapidly. Unusually, on its upper surface, rather than the conventional calvary cross, it bears in low relief a trefoil medallion set on a shaft and rising from a moulded ferrule. In the centre of the medallion is what appears to be a human face. A similar design of medallion and face appears on one of the coped stones from St Mary’s Parish Church, Dundee, now in the care of Dundee Museums. On one sloping face are the remains of a hunting horn, carved in relief, and on the other a sword. 3D model from photos generated with photogrammetry software 3DF Zephyr v6.010 processing 186 images.
