登録有形文化財 旧大越娯楽場(1926) 福島県田村市
Cultural property designation : Registered Tangible Cultural Properties
This building was built by an famous Japanese architectural scholar, Wajiro Kon in 1926.
Used as a common shipping site for silk cocoons and cigarettes, during the seasons where there was nothing to ship, it screened movies and plays as a recreational area for villagers.
That was owned by town of Ogoe in 1950 and became the martial arts stadium in 1975.
This structure has remained as good as original apperance, and it is a precious construction as Kon Wajiro’s few work.
