Finnoe Church Pocked-Dressed Stone3D Model
Chamfered pocked-marked dressed jambstone of 16th/17th-century date incorporated into the stone stile of Finnoe (Fionnú) graveyard (TN010-020001-), Co. Tipperary. The stone probably came from from the window of the medieval parish church of Finnoe (TN010-020001-) which stood in the townland of Curraghmore, parish of Finnoe, diocese of Killaloe, barony of Ormond Lower. The medieval church was replaced by the present Church of Ireland church ruins known as Saint Ruadan’s Church, in the 18th-century. The surface of the stone had deep sparrow pocked tooling within a narrow smooth marging running around the edge of the stone. The tooling and the margin are clearly visible when you turn on the matcap mode. For more information on Finnoe Church, visit: https://maps.archaeology.ie/HistoricEnvironment/?SMRS=TN010-020001-
