More model informationI know this isn’t a boat, but I was at the Met the other day and saw this beautiful chair. This is a painted side chair from the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The set of four (at the Met) are dated 1815-1820, and were designed by Hugh and/or John Finlay.
The texturing leaves a lot to be desired, as I used my cell phone to snap the patterns. Of particular note, the decoration on the front stile is incorrect. It should be a ribboned fascis. Also, the UVs on the front legs are a bit dodgy, as I failed to isolate the pattern.
Nevertheless, this model would work in the background of a scene. The originals have a tasseled cushion on the cane seat.
