More model informationOn the eastern side of Lough Foyle a section is exposed in the Magilligan (Northern Ireland) beachridge plain. This coast erodes at about 1 m per year and the ever-changing section reveals basal beachridge sands overlain by terrestrial peats with lake marls in inter-ridge depressions. These are topped by aeolian dunes and the entire succession has accumulated in the past 7000 yrs. The 3d model was constructed using SFM techniques.
