This was my final project for my 3D Modelling at UCF. I built an original DS, its cartridge, a game case, a tbale, floor, and wall. For a bit of an amusing detail I decided to have a different game features on each object. So we got Pokemon Black2 for the case, Bowser’s Inside Story on the DS, and Picross DS on the cartridge.
I didn’t know much about UV Mapping at the time, and all lessons given to me in class didn’t make a lick of sense. I could generate UVs, but I couldn’t organize or modify them properly when I was taking the class. So that resulted in this simple model being more detailed than it should with well over 15-20 texture maps occupying this scene. Thankfully I’ve learned how to modify and organize UVs better so I intend to rebuild this scene in the near future.
But for now, here’s my unfiltered horribly organized model from years back!
