Demonstration grahic showing the drilling of a bone pendant with a stone drill. The pendant was first drilled from one side until the drill just breaks through the piece on the underside. The pendant was then flipped over and drilled again using the break through point as a guide for placing the stone bit. This practice results in a distinctive bi-conical drill hole as can be seen in the cut away view.
