One of a cluster of prehistoric carvings found S of Dobrudden Farm caravan park on Baildon Moor, West Yorkshire.
This flat ground level stone sits east of a worn track amongst the remains of bell pits. Boughey & Vickerman referenced the stone IAG146 in their 2003 publication ‘Prehistoric Rock Art of the West Riding’ and describe:
‘Medium-sized, low, smooth grit rock. Up to 30 shallow cups, a few linked grooves.’
CSI: Rombalds Moor project recorded ‘Dobrudden (South) 04’ on ERA, describing similar motifs, but cast doubt over the artificiality of some.
This model shows a few other shallow depressions.
