“Truthfully, I do not seek war with humans. But I am left with no other option, for my people’s salvation. It was nice to know you, child. But only one of us will walk away from this. And so… goodbye…”
The Piglin king’s words resonated in David’s head. He had been sent to slay a monster, but that was not what he saw in the leader of the Piglin. He could only see someone who wanted to end the injustice dealt to his own kind. What happened next would decide the fate of the Nether and the Overworld. He had to stop the Piglin from going to war with humanity, but were the humans really the victims of this conflict?
“I won’t fight you!” the boy sternly insisted. The troubled look across the kingchief’s face only grew deeper. He could barely muster the strength to raise his axe against the human child. But he needed to live up to the strength of the Piglin. His people would never again be enslaved by the Overworldians. And so, he had to slay the child of Man, as much as it pained him.
