Daruma inspired in Porco Rosso from studio Ghibli. According to legend, in the 5th and 6th centuries, the Buddhist monk Bodhidharma meditated for nine consecutive years, causing his hands and feet to fuse together. The daruma is based on this fact and that is why it has no limbs and is round in shape, which means that if it is hit it will sway as a symbol of resistance. The color red is reminiscent of blood and fire, considered the color that defends against evil since ancient times. Daruma without eyes, think your wish by painting the left eye. Once that wish is fulfilled, complete the right eye.
