3D Character model – Darksider female Fan art Death concept.
This is a school project of 6 weeks, and my first 3D Character. The idea was to create our own Darksiders character from 2D concepts to 3D model, so i decided to revisit Death in a feminine version. For the modeling I first made a High poly scultp on Zbrush, then a retopology on Maya, and texturing with Substance Painter. I came back on Maya to do rig and skin for animation.
For this Character i have a free polycount limit so i privileged aesthetic and details at the cost of a more high poly count. This is why feathers and hair take most of the polygon count. However I would like to make a 2nd version of the character much more low poly with simpler hair and feathers in plans.
