3D model of a cyberpunk/scifi plague doctor helmet. I absolutely love combining traditionally fantasy elements with different genres. This was a ton of fun to work on! The helmet is rendered in real time with Unreal Engine 4 and is game-optimized with 2 LODs. It was modeled in 3ds Max and textured primarily in Unreal, with some extra work in Photoshop and Zbrush to help push it further. Although my primary focus was the helmet itself, I couldn’t resist adding the hood in as well to help visualize how it would look in-game on a character. It turned into a crash-course in Marvelous Designer. The hood was retopped in both MD and Max.
