This is the space defining elements model Corey created for the ARCH 101 FALL 2023 Design Studio final project course. My model represents the final solution of the iterative design process our class used to develop our architectonic spaces. It is based on the following 15 space defining elements: (Elevated (green), Overhead (blue), Flush, Depressed (green) and Base (green) Planes; Volumetric (blue), Vertical Linear (green), and Vertical Planar Elements (yellow); Openings Within a Plane (orange), at a Corner (orange), and Between Planes (orange); Direct and Indirect Lighting; and Small, Narrow, and Vista Views (no colors)), as noted in the textbook, Form Space and Order, by D.K. Ching. The final design was based on the combined collage that is included as the background image.
