More model informationThis is my take on the “Combuster” weapon from the Ratchet & Clank series (Sony / Insomniac Games). I used the design seen in the PS3 game “Tools of Destruction” as a base, mixed in some elements from the feature-film version, and added a couple of personal touches. I modelled both high and low poly versions in 3ds Max and textured it using Substance Painter.
I’m currently learning how to build animated materials in Unreal using this model. My goal is to have the tubes pumping liquid, bubbling liquid visible through the window slots, the green pumps sliding back and forth, and possibly some kind of electric arcing within the red bulb.
