More model informationThis is a model of a portion of the lower keel of the City Place schooner that was found disarticulated from the stern end of the wreck. The remains of the City Place schooner, a 19th-century vessel, were discovered during the construction of the City Place neighborhood in Toronto in 2015. The wreck is currently located at the Fort York National Historic Site and is the subject of an archaeological study by scholars from the Nautical Archaeology Program at Texas A&M University.
All photos for this model were taken by Robin Galloso, who was a member of a team of students from Texas A&M University who surveyed the wreck in 2018.
