! not real-time 3D (it is, in Unity, but not here) !
This is the hub-scene in “Carly in the Reaperman”. From this scene, the player can access all the levels in the game. It has a couple of different inspirations, such as Dacca, but also some general Final Fantasy 7 vibes. But a bit more cutesy.
Projections Disclaimer: So I wanted to share a bit of the things I worked on in-game, but none of them really look that great to be honest by themselves, and everything in the engine is quite tied up to shaders, particles, different materials, etc. So I didn’t really expect I’d be able to show any of it, until I found this projection tool made for VR in Unity, so I figured hey, this will be quite close. Since it’s all just textures on a box, the illusion is very fragile haha.
