The Cane Toad. An absolutely marvelous species and the world’s largest toad. It is native to Central America but has spread around the world. Most notably, it is an invasive species in Australia where they were released by European colonists in order to control the Cane beetle population that was devastating sugar cane farms. They shoot out poison when squeezed and are awesome but not good for most ecosystems :(
