More model informationThis is a 3D scan of a second life avatar made using about 200 8K screenshots in a lightroom environment all projected onto a single 2k texture. The process of scanning avatars in second life is virtually seamless as camera control is easy to manipulate making angle consistency a breeze. The ability to build and change the lighting on the fly also makes it easy to set up environments in which 3D scanning is ideal, in this case the lighting was changed to minimize shadows and the screenshots were taken in a fullbright sphere so only the subject was visible.
While Sketchup says there are no PBR materials on this model, I have to disagree, he is clearly holding a Pabst Blue Ribbon.
