Hourly discharge at the four USGS stream gauges of the Maury River Watershed between Sep 1, 2015 and May 21, 2016. Data is from (largest to smallest watershed) Maury River near Buena Vista (http://on.doi.gov/1TXjMF9), Maury River near Rockbridge Baths (http://on.doi.gov/1NNKRhr), Calfpasture River at Goshen (http://on.doi.gov/1TXkHoY), and Kerrs Creek (http://on.doi.gov/2486b3n). Discharge is represented by the height of the cylinder at each gauge location. All heights are linear and not normalized to the size of the watershed. I have not included a scale but the Maury near BV bottoms out at 71 cfs in mid-September and tops out at 11,100 cfs in late February. The Maury River watershed is 835 mi2 (roughly ¾ of the size of Rhode Island) and the vertical exaggeration is 3x. The green watershed is for Noels Run in BV and the green dates that flash in on five occasions are days when the Parry McCluer High School Geology class took field measurements.
