Bust of N. J. von Jacquin (NHMW-AFW-DING-0005)3D Model
3D scan of a bust of the Austro-Dutch chemist and botanist Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin (1727 – 1817). The bust by the Austrian sculptor Elias Hütter (1774 – 1865) is made of plaster, which is painted with bronze paint. The bust along with the bust of Jacquin’s son Joseph Franz, was originally exhibited in the botanical department.
The bust is not on display and can be viewed by appointment.
