Boulder found towards the eastern side of the Lamb’s Knowe area, approx. 3.5 miles E of Chatton, Northumberland.
Referenced on the Beckensall Archive (BA) as ‘Brown Ridge Burn 1’, this stone was recorded as having “three cups”. NADRAP Team 3 added the record to ERA in 2008 as ‘Brownridge Burn 1’ with the following description:
“One definite cup and four possibles, with grooves that may only be natural undulations in the rock or drainage channels.”
