This handmade juglet features a long neck with a conical opening. The juglet is decorated in a complex pattern of a a frieze running across the shoulder with stripes and dotted circles, and a broader frieze of cross-hatched panels alternating with dotted circles across the body. The juglet has a height of 145mm.
The juglet is on display as part of the ‘Cypriot Pottery of the Bronze and Iron Ages’ exhibition of the Hellenic Museum of Melbourne, and is on loan from the Peter Mitrakas and Mary Ann Savas collection.
