More model informationA White Painted Ware Cypriot bottle dating to the Middle or Late Bronze Age, 1800-1450 BCE.
This handmade bottle features a long neck with a conical opening, with an attached string hole at the shoulder. The paint remnants on the body are divided into vertical panels, filled in striped diamond patterns. The string hole was perhaps used to hang the bottle, which was likely filled with a precious oil. The bottle has a height of 150mm.
The bottle is on display as part of the ‘Cypriot Pottery of the Bronze and Iron Ages’ exhibition of the Hellenic Museum of Melbourne, and is on loan from the Peter Mitrakas and Mary Ann Savas collection.
This model was produced from 556 colour-checked images compiled in Agisoft Metashape.
